Well... I don't call myself the Schitzoid Knightie with Multi-Personalities for nothing. From Dark Squire(ettes) mischeveous pranks, to Light Squire(ettes) angsty musings--- all in the same morning!
This was influenced by a movie song that was popular a few decades back. I
think it was called 'Ode to Billie Jack' after the movie's title and main
character.
I changed most of the lyrics to make it more Forever Knightish; but left the
chorus alone as it fit well enough as is. If you'd like the original lyrics
to the song, just e-mail me offlist.
The FK episode referred to is: Queen of Harps
Kyer does not own anything FK or Billie Jack.

(to the tune of: Ode to Billie Jack)
Listen, children to a story
That was played out long ago.
'Bout a noble from old Brabant--
And the Lord who was his foe.
When the noble's heart was broken
By this Lord's vile treachery,
Then began this tale of sorrow
And his time of misery.
Forced to leave his home and family
For to pay another's fault.
Sent out on false charge of murder--
Which God's angels failed to hault.
Cast upon a world a 'warring
This fair knight, though standing bold,
Found his faith in man a'wanning--
Found his faith in God grow cold.
Cried he out in pain and anger:
Now, this fallen Knight in shadows
Moves betwixt the wolves and sheep.
Striving for his soul's redemption.

Searching for Light's hope to keep.
[Chorus]
Go ahead hate your neighbor!
Go ahead cheat a friend!
Just do it in the name of Heaven--
You'll feel justified in the end!
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the Judgement Day!
On the bloody morning after...

One tin soldier rides awaaay...
