"Where is everyone?" LaCountess asked.
Kezia replied, "Kyer is in her room, she still upset about Mr. Spitz.
Andrea, Nicole, and Diane are watching a movie, Robo - something .. Prime
Directives I think.  Lisa and Jenieve went to get the Schanke's
anniversary gift.  And Desiree said something about working on a
surprise."

"Well we'd all better start getting ready or we're going to be late for
the party.  Cindy's invitation said this was a black tie affair and that
Don and Myra would be there from 7:00 pm until midnight." LaCountess
stated.

Just then Lisa and Jenieve came in.  "Everyone come and see what you think
of the anniversary present we got."

Ten minutes later everyone, but Kyer had gathered in the Living Room.

"So, did you get them Slowdive's 1996 CD - 'Souvlaki'."  Desiree asked
with a devilish grin.
"No!" Lisa replied. "I don't think that's Don's kind of music.  He's more
Polka and Buchene."
" Ok so what did you get?" Nicole asked.

"We got them a set of corningware baking dishes and a
$100.00 gift certificate to the Azure restaurant. If I remember correctly,
Nick and Nat had an interesting Valentines Dinner there a few years ago."

"I guess Lisa and I will be driving." Diane stated.

"Maybe..  Maybe not...  you'll see.  Now lets get ready.  And don't forget
that the attire is formal.  I finally get to ware that satin dress I
purchase just before the war started."  Desiree said.

Meanwhile...  Kezia popped in on Kyer, telling her that Mr. Spitz can be
fixed and to get ready for the party or else??

An hour later at the Comfy Cottage
****************************************

"Andrea, have you seen my keys?"
" I think you left them on the table by the gift Lisa."
"Thanks, I found them."

"Ok, Desiree.  So what is this surprise you've been working on and why
won't Diane and I need to drive tonight."
"I'll tell you once everyone is here."

At 7:30 sharp everyone was finally dressed and ready to leave.
"Kyer, what are you bringing a flask for?" Jenieve inquired.

At that moment someone knocked at the door.
"That would be my surprise!" Desiree advised.

As LaCountess opened the door, she was greeted by Stephano's smiling face.
 He bowed slightly, stating, "Ladies your carriage awaits."

As everyone peered out the door they saw a white stretch Limousine.

"As this is our final evening together and the last party of the war, I
thought we should go out in style."  Desiree said.

Stephano opened the Limousine door for the Cotk to entire.

FoDs Mansion

45 minutes later they arrived at the Mansion.

"Wow, this place is incredible!" Nicole exclaimed. "They must need a
full-time gardener to keep up the grounds."

As the Cotk entered the Mansion they were greeted by Cindy and Ron.
Seeing the gifts in Jenieve's hands, Ron indicated that the gift table was
inside the on the left.

Jenieve headed off to put the gifts on the table, while the rest of the
CotK entered the ballroom.  Jenieve put the gifts on the table and quickly
rejoined the group.

"Nicole, you thought the outside of this place was incredible." Desiree
said. " I feel as if we've stepped back in time.  High ceilings adorned
with chandelier's, velvet furniture ...  I think, I could get use to
this."

For the next hour the CotK mingled and spoke with members of the other
factions.  All the while, noticing that our favorite vamps and mortals
were still behaving a bit out of  character.
"Does this mean that they are still switched?" Lisa asked.
"I'm afraid so."  Andrea replied.  "I believe I overheard Cindy say
something about one of the factions finding the cure and that everyone
should be back in their own bodies by the end of the night."

At that moment Cindy walked over.
"Kyer you've been rather quiet tonight. So what is in that flask anyway?"
Diane asked.
"Well if you must know.  I didn't know if I would be able to eat want was
on the menu or not tonight...  So I brought my delicious Banana and Chili
Blender Delight.  Would you like to try it?"
"No thanks." Diane replied.

"Oh , Hi Cindy." Kyer stated.  "I've been wanting to speak with you about
possibly including my Blender Delights into the Deli menu."

"Unsure what to say, Cindy was relieved when Kathy came over to say she
was needed elsewhere."

As the party continued and the cause of the personality  switching was
discovered; the CotK enjoyed the food, dancing and conversation with their
friends in the other factions.

"No way it's not mid-night already." LaCountess stated.
"Afraid so." someone reply.  "Well I don't know about the rest of you, but
I'm not ready for bed yet.  Let's go out. "
"That sounds like fun and we have Stephano until 3:00 am, anyway." Desiree
chimed. "There's a club on Richmond Street I heard was a little dark and a
lot of fun.  Now what was the name of that place?"
"I think I know the place you're taking about.  It's called The Fluid
Lounge."  Lisa said.

"OK, lets go, this party is winding down, and we are winding up."  Kezia
said.  <Besides I can sleep in since my plan doesn't take off until
Thursday night... she thought>

The CotK said their farewells and departed.

An hour later, 1:00 am      The Fluid Lounge
*************************************************

"This place really looks cool." Andrea exclaimed.
"I've heard it can be a bit wild." Lisa advised.
"Oh, don't forget that at 2:30 am we all need to be back at the Limo;
because at 3 it turns into a pumpkin.  I don't know about the rest of you
Cinderella's, but I don't want to have walk home."  Desiree said.

Stephano parked the limo, then opened the door for this fair maidens.  A
few moments later Jenieve turned around and asked Stephano if he would be
their Prince Charming for the rest of the evening.  He graciously
excepted, escorting his fair maidens within the hall of lights and sound.

For the next hour and a half the group laughed, dances,  and flirted with
Stephano and every other Adonis in the place.

Comfy Cottage
***************************************

At 3:00 am their carriage did not turn back into a pumpkin.  However, they
were home at the Comfy Cottage with very sore feet.  The only thing they
could think of was a hot shower and bed.

"Good night everyone." LaCountess said.

Everyone slowly migrated to the comfort of their beds and slumber.
